One of my dreams came true when we were on vacation in Texas this past week. I went to the Magnolia Market. Yes, fangirl over Chip & Jo with me now.
I’d wanted to go to the Magnolia Market back when we were in Texas a few months ago around Easter. Time didn’t allow it, plus they were closed for Easter. Bummed out, we went home. Isaiah told me we could go next time (this summer) when we went on vacation. We actually went to Padre Island and Corpus Christi, but we drove through Waco on our way there and back.
On the way home, we stopped there in the morning to eat and visit the market. We went to the market first because we really wanted In and Out, and they didn’t open until later. So we pull up and walk in and it’s gorgeous. They have the big silos with a magnolia sign and in front of that, there’s a big yard with chairs, soccer balls, cornhole, etc. They had a shaded area with picnic tables, a little stand with flowers on it, and then the stores. They have the main store, The Magnolia Market and next to it they have the Silo’s Bakery. We only went to the market because the bakery line was insane and we wanted In and Out more (obviously).
The market itself was packed full of people. They had shirts, gifts, home décor, all the works. A cool thing was “Chip’s Corner” and it had stuff for men, including father’s day gifts. I ended up getting a shirt, a little nest for décor in my room, and a #DemoDays sticker for my corkboard.
There were so many beautiful home decorations there, including Jimmy Don signs! I, needless to say, wanted everything. I did good only spending $30 on my 3 items. It was hot, and Gabriel was impatient, so we left after getting our stuff.
Over all impression: 9/10. I’m gonna say that only because it was really packed and hard to navigate. The staff was super friendly, the place was stocked, clean, and organized. I really loved visiting there, and I hope when I’m super rich some day I can get a lot more stuff from there. I guess their Target line will be good enough for now 🙂
