Patricia and Justin Martinez are soulmates. It’s so obvious when you watch them. The way they interact together, the way they look at each other when the other is talking, the way they touch and kiss.. everything they do together screams love. I grew up knowing Patricia and her family from school, and our small town. When she reached out to me to ask me questions about wedding photography my heart exploded. She reached out last year, when my business was brand new. She saw my potential and had faith in me. I offered her a mini engagement session back in the fall, and wow, from that day until her wedding day, I grew so much.
Patricia is the type of person every wedding vendor dreams of having. She’s organized like no other, she has her questions ready, and she’s always flexible and eager to hear what I have to say. She knew what she wanted, had everything planned to the smallest details, and it made things run so smoothly. I truly think she should be a wedding planner, I’ve never seen a wedding go so well! Everything even went ahead of time, so no one was stressed, rushed, or anything! They truly enjoyed their wedding day, and I know my second shooter and I really appreciated the moments where we could rest our feet or get a sip of water in.
The wedding itself was just a dream. Patricia looked gorgeous in her dress (as I knew she would, because she did a bridal boudoir with me back in Feb!). She had pink accents, my favorite color, but it wasn’t overpoweringly girly or anything. It was soft, romantic, and just all around perfect. Justin got Patricia a custom book about what he loves about her with little cartoons, and the tears were flowin! It was so special to them and I thought it was the cutest thing ever. Patricia used her boudoir pictures, in her wedding dress and other lingerie, to make Justin an album! He got to look through it after the ceremony and he was like “When did you do this!?” It was a total surprise that I’m sure he’ll love forever.
The reception was totally their style. They had a super cool bubble entrance, Mexican food, Margaritas, and of course, lots of dancing! It was truly a fun day for my second shooter and I, and I high key wished all weddings could be as organized and fun as theirs. It was one big party celebrating two people who were just plain meant for each other. They have so much love and God in their hearts, and I wish them the happiest marriage ever!
I very much look forward to photographing their adorable babies someday!! Love you both!! 🙂

Morgan
